Captain Austin did a great job taking my son, 2 grandsons (7 and 9) and me on our first fishing trip. His boat and fishing gear are spotless and he is a true professional. Following a review of safety rules, we left the dock and headed for our first fishing spot. He quickly set the boys up and soon after, they each caught their first fish. We all caught numerous trout and 2 whitings, as well as a large catfish. We then tried a second shallow spot where each of the boys were thrilled to catch a stingray which was released after we took a look. We returned to shore where Captain Austin expertly filleted our catch. The day ended with a delicious fish fry on our return home. We would highly recommend Captain Austin and hope to do this again on a future visit.

We had a great morning fishing with Captain Austin on the St. Johns River. He was professional, and very knowledgeable about fishing on the river. The boat was in good order, and the rods and tackle were ready to go when we arrived. Captain Austen quickly had us on some trout and black drum at our first stop, and we had a few red fish in by the end of the morning. Overall we had a great experience fishing with Captain Austin, and would highly recommend Tannic Water Adventures to anyone looking to experience the St Johns River fishery.

Captain Austin was great and very knowledgeable, my 8 year old daughter who went on the trip with me. He stood by her the whole time, helped coach her on how to cast, how to reel the fish in and she was able to end the day with very nice 24 inch red fish!! Overall it was a fantastic day and would highly recommend going on this trip. Kid friendly

Austin was great. He was very helpful on where and how to catch the fish.  Started out quick with a few good trout and then moved and caught some more even with the current changing. Austin is very knowledgeable and I gave him plenty of opportunities to use those line tying skills. We had a great time and all of his gear was top notch.  Would highly recommend Austin if you want to get familiar with the area and catch some fish. 

Looks like we are frying them up for some fresh fish tacos tonight.  🎣🌮
