I recommend booking through here instead of through the resort same trips cheaper price which means more for tips when you have a good time.

Be prepared for big seas. Not a trip for young children, teenagers and up.

Read the reviews and pay attention to the fishing gears and the boat, I have fished here every year many boats are purely equipped! Month May is hot but is a high season.

We didn’t catch any fish, but that happens sometimes. Go as early in the morning as possible, that’s when I’ve had success in the past.

Ask the captain what is in season, and go with their expertise! They truly want you to have a good time and catch fish!

I would highly recommend fishing off of Playa del Carmen just make sure you do it with Isaias and Dani on the Alondra III.

May can be windy, I’d recommend booking with a bigger boat. The Alondra III was a hell of a boat that we felt very safe and comfortable on all day long.

Consider the weather conditions and the time you will spend fishing,next time i will take the six hours tour to spend more hours fishing and snorkeling. I had the opportunity to hone my fishing techniques, but I also had the pleasure of spending a beautiful day with my family. While they enjoyed snorkeling in the beauty of the sea, I relished in the thrill of the catch. It was a perfect blend of relaxation and excitement, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

The GPS puts you at the back entrance of the hotel, meet the captain on the beach by the bar.

Weather was sunny. The waves were rolling. And the catching was not so great in the afternoon.

The only thing about these boats is that they're smaller than the big fishing charters. If it's windy (but not so windy that the trip needs to be cancelled), the boat can rock a bit if you stop/slow down to do bottom fishing. That might affect people who are prone to motion sickness.

Overall good two sailfish in one day. Not much after that but that is fishing.

Don’t go in thinking you’re gonna catch fish right away. Sometimes it can take a while. For us it was 2hrs until we caught the white Marlin. But it was worth the wait. I’ll take the quality over the quantity.

The crew does a lot for you so it's very easy fishing. They almost catch the fish and let you pull it up. That was very different than what I am used to but it was cool.

If you ever fished b4 ya know dress for the experience... if your comfortable you'll have a great trip
