Top targets include Striped Bass, Bluefish, Tautog, Flounder, Porgy, Black Seabass, and Weakfish. Seasons and targeted fish vary. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Fish caught during the trip are yours to take home, so long as they’re within the legal limit. The crew can even clean your catch for you. Have a cooler ready in the car!

Captain Austin was born and raised in Brooklyn and has been fishing the waters in and around the NY Bight, NYC, and Jamaica Bay for over 40 years. He has worked in the fishing industry for over 20 years and authored 250 articles on catching a variety of fish species in NYC waters.

You’ll be fishing aboard a 25’ Parker boat that accommodates up to 5 guests. She’s powered by a 225 HP Yamaha engine and has all navigational electronics you need to easily find the schools of fish.
