This is the coldest worst weather time of the year. We have been practically snow/iced in for almost a week but this too will pass so keep reading. This coming week we are looking at highs in the 50’s and low 60’s. Water levels are high in all the tributary rivers and that is what is expected this time of year. With the warming trend and cabin fever setting in its time to ignore bad weather and get out there on the water. The big secret to catching fish is just making the attempt. Remember, this is an adventure sport. Its also important to remember that im going to look out for you the whole time. Ive got a heater, and most of the time eventhough i dont advertise it i bring along something warm to snack on. I expect you to show up bundled up but I do keep spare weather gear that i can loan you if you let me know before the trip. I supply everything you will need for the whole day of fishing except for a Tn fishing license. Fly fishing or slip bobber n fly spin-fishing is by far the best way to catch fish this time of year. The trout will stay at cetain depths in the river and a slow natural drift really does the trick. Winter weather is actually preferred by Trout. I know the weather has been tricky for us humans but if you like to fish I will do everything I can to make your trip the best possible. - Jason

Amazing. This is my favorite time to fish for bass. They are aggressive and the weather is getting better. I really couldnt ask for better conditions lately . If you are into river bass fishing now is the time to book.
