Captain Ethan was very knowledgeable and made sure we had success. He is an extremely hard worker. We told him we wanted to make sure our daughter had a good time. He started us out in the sound because he thought the ocean might be too rough for us especially with a 7 year old on board. He heard shortly after we got started that it was calm enough for us to go out. She was a little scared going over the waves in the ocean, but he was doing his best to make it as smooth as possible. She was able to try to reel in a couple of blue, but they would bite the line or slip off.  The blues gave us a good fight & were a lot of fun. On our way back he stopped at one more place in the sound to let our little girl try one more time. She finally was able to catch 2! She was very excited! I loved that he cared enough to make sure her first fishing trip was a success! I highly recommend Ethan!

Captain Ethan was knowledgeable, easy going, and helpful for our group of 4.  First stop put us right over a really solid spot for black seabass which the younger two of the group caught dozens of, maybe 10 or 12 of which were keepers.  The rest of the half day trip was spent searching for drum and cobia, which was fruitless, but Captain Ethan kept searching until we ran out of time.  No fault of his- just the conditions.  No other boats in sight were on them either, so can’t fault him for it.  Would book again.

Captain Ethan is really nothing short of an amazing guide, fisherman and patient. He makes us feel comfortable and excited. He catches fish almost instantly and gives us the reel to bring it in-which is what we needed! This is our SECOND year with Ethan and won’t be our last. He makes the whole experience so fun!
We caught 4 amberjack and 2 barracuda (those we put back). My husband got sick and made the trip about an hour and a half short - we would’ve kept trolling for mahi and went to a wreck for grouper. Ethan was so flexible and didn’t laugh (like I did) as my husband puked over the side

Captain Ethan was awesome from the start and gave the whole experience. We caught our bait, smashed the Blue Fish for tonight’s dinner and then moved to deeper water for Barracudas, Amber Jacks, Grouper and we even got a Mahi Mahi. For 30 some odd years, my biggest fish was 7lbs. Today I crushed that with a 23lb Amber Jack. WOW, what a fighter. My daughters and I will forever be grateful and never forget this trip!  Can’t wait to come back and book with Captain Ethan.
