Draggin’ Tails Charter Co. is all about fishing the stunning waters of Cape Cod. With Captain Dawson at the helm, you’ll benefit from years of knowledge and experience. He grew up on the boat, commercially fishing since he was only 10 years old.

The fish we target off the coast of Cape Cod waters include Bluefin Tuna, Black Seabass, Bluefish, Striped Bass, various species of Sharks, Haddock, Flounder, Pollock, and much more.

We target species using a variety of techniques and equipment such as, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing or trolling. The technique used will depend on the target species in addition to the tide, feeding patterns, moon phase, along with other factors, in order to give you the best chance of landing a big one! I pride myself on being a great teacher, helping those i fish with to perfect their technique and maximize results.

Trips with Draggin’ Tails Charter Co. are child-friendly, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Snacks are also a good idea, so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!

Your trip begins aboard a 24’ Stamas that was completely rebuilt in 2024. The boat can accommodate up to 4 passengers comfortably . It has all the essentials. There’s also toilet on board for your convenience.

Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you to use, and we will be sure to coach you on all techniques to give you the very best results.
