Edward Teach Charters welcomes you to the stunning waters of Huntington Beach. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Dalton is prepared to put you on fish.

Local species include Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, California Sheephead, Halibut, Rockfish, Mahi Mahi, Lobster, White Seabass, Sierra Mackerel, and more if conditions are right. You’ll target your catch by spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Dalton can also have you kite fishing. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing.

Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own.

You’ll be casting lines from a 32’ WorldCat Power Catamaran that holds up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience.
Capt. Dalton will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available upon request, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

Before coming aboard, you may need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

Some essentials to bring are bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks available on board.
