Redfish, Black Drum, Blacktip Shark, Bonnethead Shark, Sheepshead, Jack Crevalle, Bull Shark, and more could be biting, depending on when you go. For these species, you’re likely to bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Any fish you catch are yours to keep, provided they’re within size and bag limits. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take your fish home and throw it right into the pan. Make sure you have a cooler ready in the car!

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

Capt. Michael runs a 24’ Sportsman Bay boat with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels. Live bait is included if it’s available at the docks.

You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Some essentials you’ll want to bring are sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but be sure to let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
