Depending on the season, you might hook into Flounder, Kingfish, Redfish, Spanish Mackerel, Spotted Seatrout, Weakfish, and plenty more. During the trip, you might be spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Fish caught during the trip are yours to take home, so long as they’re within the legal limit. Your day begins aboard a 24’ Kencraft Bay Rider with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself. Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time!

It’s never a bad idea to bring snacks, drinks, sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor and glass bottles. Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
