I took my teenage son and nephew for their first walleye trip in Lake Erie & Captain Mike did not disappoint. Since the moment i booked, the captains were extremely responsive to all the questions i had. The boys and I showed up to the dock 15min early and Captain Mike had everything set up and ready to go. He was very engaged with my son and nephew the whole time. He explained everything that he was doing to set the lines up and they learned so much. He had great energy and kept them excited about every fish they caught. It was a perfect day and we are already looking at the calendar to plan our next trip this fall.

We have never charted before, and our party had a mix of fishing experience. We were pleased with the ease of setting our reservation, paying the deposit, and receiving useful directions to find the appropriate dock. We met Captain Mike and was quickly loaded up and out to open waters in no time. Captain Mike was helpful and patient with my 87-year-old father-in-law. He explained he had previously had many wheelchair users on past charters. After a fabulous and speedy cruise to our spot in the lake, we were introduced to all of the equipment. Captain Mike was patient to answer questions and so incredibly knowledgeable and very eager to assist us getting on with our fishing journey. We quickly got bites and all of our party had fun reeling in the fish and casting lines. We soon got our “sea legs” and felt more sturdy on the boat. *Pro-Tip - take Dramamine regardless of your past experience. You do not want seasickness to ruin a awesomely memorable trip. Captain Mike was incredible. He told us stories of past fishing trips and shared his lake wisdom throughout the entire charter. We didn’t know what to expect when we booked this charter; however, our time on the Walleye Magnet with Captain Mike is unforgettable. Thank you for such a great time!

First of all let me start by saying there is fishing and then there is fishing and then there is an amazing experience with a super great Captain oh and we caught fish as a bonus. I don’t typically leave reviews but I am completely impressed with the amazing customer experience we had today. We had a group of 5 of the 4 have never fished before and 1 has very limited Walleye experience. We had the most amazing time we laughed and as a bonus we caught fish! If you want a great experience all around with a true group of professionals Captain Larry’s is the last place you need to look. Absolutely can’t wait to do it again! Thanks Captain Mike!

Really enjoyed the 1/2 day trip. Got out early and weather was pretty good, no rough seas, air not too hot, not cold.  Had a great time fishing with Captain Larry!  Always learn something new about fishing with him. Best captain I’ve fished with!  Never hurts that we limited out before coming in. Terrific experience! Will be doing this again for sure!

Incredible fishing!!! Caught our limits with lots of big fish. Boat and equipment were top notch. Captain knew exactly where to set up, so we caught fish right away. The boat was very comfortable and had lots of room. Would recommend this to anyone who has ever wanted to fish on Lake Erie. Already trying to plan another trip for later this year.
