Capt. Drew aims to tailor every trip to your specific needs, so let him know what you’re after! Depending on the trip and species, you’ll be using techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, and spinning. You’re looking at 2 to 4-hour trips, where you’ll usually go after the likes of Redfish, Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, Speckled Trout, Bass, and Sheepshead, depending on the weather and time of year.

Your boat for the day will be a 23’ Sea Ox that fits up to 6 anglers at any one time. The boat comes with an ice box. The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you’ll need for a productive day on the water.

No need to worry about fishing licenses, as they will be provided and handled by the charter. You can keep anything you catch, as long as it’s legal to do so.

I am a native of Dare County and have been fishing since I was a young boy in Manns Harbor. I fished primarily in the Croatan Sound in small crafts when I was young and had my first paying job in the commercial fishing industry at age 15. My commercial work in the sounds of Dare County includes crabbing, shrimping, and gill net fishing. Offshore, I have worked on commercial longline boats catching primarily tuna and swordfish. Being on the waters of the Outer Banks is where I am most comfortable and happy, especially with a fishing pole in my hand. I have a great respect for nature and the coastal environment where I work and spend time with my family. I believe there can be great conservation of marine/coastal habitats through responsible fishing and respect for the environment. I am now using a combination of my diverse commercial fishing skills and knowledge, as well as my lifelong passion for recreational fishing, to share the experience of Outer Banks fishing with the public.
