This was our first time going charter boat fishing and we had an amazing time.  We didn’t fastball as much as we hoped but Captain John was so helpful and willing to move to different spots to find fish. He also extended our time long enough to allow all our kids the opportunity to catch a fish which was really special for them.  Captain John was pleasant, helpful and just an all around super nice person.  We will definitely be back!

Fishing was slow so Captain John took us to multiple spots, and when they started hitting at the end of our our scheduled time in the evening they stayed out with us for an extra hour! We could have come home with 1 catch but ended up with 11 because of his willingness to go above and beyond. He and his daughter are great people and we will be sure to book with him again next time we visit! Thanks for the amazing trip Captain John!

Fishing with Capt. John and his crew (Brad, his son) was an excellent adventure.  We were brought to the fish in the inlet. When we were curious about the near shore experience, we were brought to the fish that were stacked up over an old sunk uboat. Our main keepers were black sea bass and speckled sea trout. Other species which we caught and released were flounder, sand shark and skate.

John was a great time from the start! He is very professional and his first mate was just the same. Start of the day there were no complaints with the sunrise and the prep for our day. Put us directly on what bait to get us ready and directly on the fish after. Could not ask for a better guide for an easy day on the sound! Everyone caught fish!

Cataun John runs a tight ship.  He called us the night before our trip to talk to us about weather conditions,  where to meet and what to bring.  He met us promptly and we spent the whole time fishing.  Caught lots of fish.  The boat was comfortable and the we had all the equipment needed.  Great time.
