REELMD Charter and Guide Service is located in Vermilion and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters. For Capt. Matt, your trip starts 2-3 days beforehand.  He spends that time pre-fishing, reviewing reports, and assessing conditions. When on board, his 3 priorities are crew safety, comfort, and fun.

Capt. Matt will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 4-hour trips, mainly fishing for Walleye, Perch, Bass, and Rainbow Trout, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, trolling, fly fishing, drift fishing, jigging, and spinning.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 28’ Pursuit boat that can safely take up to 4 anglers. This boat comes with a toilet and an ice-box.

All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time.

Ever since he was 8 years and allowed to leave the yard by himself, Captain Matt had a fishing rod in his hand. Farm ponds, gravel pits, streams, rivers, and lakes, it doesn't matter, the captain has fished them all. Captain Matt was born on the shores of Lake Erie and has lived on and around the Great Lakes his entire life. He believes fish is one of God's greatest creations, worthy of pursuit and delicious nourishment. His passion has been validated by close friends, family, and clients. Captain Matt received the Fenwick Master Fisherman Award in 1986. He loves to teach people how to catch fish and he got his captain's license in 2017.
