We had an awesome time with Chase! We had a private charter for the day, and all 13 of us enjoyed celebrating a Bachelor’s Party fishing day. Chase had the grill hot and ready when we arrived and his mate, Brian, cooked us up some morning sausage as we headed out. The marina was immaculate. We ended up trolling and caught a huge Spanish Mackerel, some Bonitos, and others. When we stopped to drop our lines in deeper water, we pulled in a lot of Snapper and others. Some were too small to keep but still had fun. The damn dolphins though… those guys will steal your fish right off the hook! Awesome seeing them up close. We brought our own burgers and made lunch as well, and Chase let us use his speaker for tunes the entire day. If we ever head back to Orange Beach, we’ll be sure to hit him up for another day out.

Great experience and a really nice, down-to-earth guy.

We took a 6-hour trip with Capt Chase & his deck hand, Cooper, and were not disappointed! The kids we had along ranged from 2nd grade to a sophomore in high school, and they all had a blast. Chase kept us on the fish, and Cooper kept us on point, rockin’ and rollin’ to the tune of 34 snapper! Most were Vermillion snapper, all but one were keepers. We even bagged a Bonito! Chase even called a few other boats in to join us we were having so much success! Cooper cooked up a couple of snapper on the ride back in & it was amazing. The two did a fantastic job for us and I’d head out with them again in a heartbeat! Afterward my brother-in-law overheard other captains lamenting that they only got 2-3 fish on some 6-hour outings, so I know Capt Chase really nailed it for us! That evening we ate some of our catch; grilled some and blackened some in a cast iron skillet…they were incredible!

Anyone can buy a boat and throw some lines in the water. I’ve been on multiple trips in the past and most captains are pretty good at putting you on the fish.

This charter was no different. Get on a boat, drop some lines in, catch some fish. And that is where the similarities ended.

This trip was absolutely incredible and it had everything to do with Chase and Dylan (the deckhand who worked with us on this day). These two guys made this trip absolutely amazing. Many folks in our group of 10 hadn’t been fishing on the ocean before and these guys made sure they had a good time.

I can’t speak highly enough of Dylan who I wish I could have a personal deckhand on any other future trips. He was an incredibly hard worker. He was fantastic with the small children we had on the boat, gave us all kinds of great information, etc. If we ever tested his patience with some novice questions, needing help with lines/bait, and me losing a big one (Whoops!), he never showed it. He also provided me with a great recipe after filleting the fish and provided some grilling guidance on the different kinds of fish we caught.

Unfortunately, some of our group members didn’t heed our caution on sea sickness. We started dropping a couple at a time and Chase was super sympathetic. He was very kind and made every accommodation possible.

We had a group of 10 and there was so much room on the boat. The interior cabin was nice and cool with the AC. The TV provided some entertainment for the young kids. Plenty of seating and chairs for out on the back deck.

Chase and Dylan just made this an outstanding experience and I will never use a different charter next time I am in the area. If you have kids (we brought a 4, 8, and 12 year old)- you don’t want to be on any other boat. This was truly a family experience. Sidenote: Hopefully Chase gets his steak now!

We had a bachelor party trip with Capt’n chase and Landon. They were great. Landon was one of the best hands I have seen. We were put on fish and had plenty of room on the boat. Great experience!
