Nate Berg Fishing Guides operate from Brainerd Lakes Area, one of the most enticing freshwater destinations when it comes to diversity of species and fishing locations. Choosing a perfect fishing trip in the area with over 400 lakes and a plethora of species is not easy, but luckily for you, Nate Berg Fishing Guides will be there to tailor your experience exactly to your needs and preferences.

You and up to three other anglers will be fishing aboard their 18’ aluminum fishing Crestliner built in 2015. Powered by a Mercury engine and cruising at a maximum speed of 32 knots, this boat comes equipped with top-quality safety and navigational gear. There’s also a live bait tank on board to make sure your bait stays fresh and appealing.

You’ll have endless options when it comes to fishing locations and species with hundreds of lakes located only 30 miles from Brainerd. Nate Berg Fishing Guides will tailor your fishing experience according to your desires - whether you’d like to focus on particular species or have a mixed bag of targets. Whichever option you choose, your guides will show you the best locations and techniques for hunting Walleye, Trout, Bass, Pike, Perch, and many others.

They’ll also provide you with the best fishing gear, including lures and live bait. Your catch will be cleaned and filleted for your convenience, and the drinks are also provided. Just make sure to bring an extra layer of clothing and tell your guides what your desired targets are. They will choose the location and organize the trip according to your choice - they have all the knowledge and all the lakes to make your day with them a life-changing experience.

I have been a part of the outdoor industry for most of my life but have been guiding since 2002. My wife and I started this guide business to be able to give back to the industry that has been so good to us. So a majority of our profits from guiding are donated back in the form of fishing trips to charities and benefits that mostly help children in some way.

I don’t have age limits. What I do suggest is limiting to four hours for any kid under the age of 12. The reason for doing so is I do not want to be the reason a kid loses his or her love for Fishing.

This is a report over the past week Doesnt matter the species, the fish are biting very well. Over the last week, we have seen a transition from a shallow bite to a more typical weedline bite. Crawlers are hoping and moving rather than spot locking in postion seems to be the key. The bite will only get better as the summer goes!
