What if we tell you that there’s an outdoor paradise waiting to be discovered? Washington State isn’t only blessed with thick evergreen forests, but with acres of pristine waters and fishing opportunities as well. With thousands of lakes, miles of rivers, and ocean access this ‘’Evergreen State’’ is truly an angler’s heaven. And Washington State fishing charters are among the best guides to show you around.
The State of Washington is one of just two places on the continent where you can catch all five species of Pacific Salmon – Chinook, Coho, Pink, Sockeye, and Chum! The saltwater scene might not be as expansive as the freshwater, but it’s certainly as productive with Albacore Tuna as its crown jewel. While summer and fall are more promising, Washington State is a year-round angling playground.
Whether you’re exploring Puget Sound, the coastal region, or the southwest area, Washington fishing charters will showcase everything the Pacific Northwest is known for. But for you to be able to enjoy the day in nature and go after your dream catch, a half day trip won’t do. The sweet spot is an 8 hour trip! For Albacore Tuna, we recommend longer offshore outings.
The productive waters in the western part of the state attract upwards of 100,000 anglers annually. If you’re unsure why this is the case, team up with a local guide and begin exploring Puget Sound. Once you’re ready for the next level of fishing, head to Westport for the Tuna adrenaline rush or check out any of the lakes during winter to experience ice fishing.
