It was a great fishing experience that I recommend to anyone who wants the thrill of battling a lively, unrelenting fish. Justin, the captain, doesn't talk much, but that's because he's on every front to make our fishing experience the best. As three novice anglers, we caught three tuna and four unhooked fish, which are all part of the adventure. At the end of the six hours, I forgot my sweater in the boat, and afterward, Derston reassured me by saying we could see each other again the next day. The after-sales service is fantastic. The captain seems to be well-liked by the other boat anglers we met. It's rarely a coincidence. Don't hesitate; it's really worth it. The icing on the cake: the captain films you battling the fish to give you great memories and share your exploits with your loved ones.

We had the best day offshore with Island Fishing Malta—truly a highlight of our trip! From start to finish, the crew was warm, professional, and incredibly accommodating for both our little ones and our big kid. Safety was clearly a priority, but that didn’t take away from the adventure one bit.
We went out on a perfectly calm day and actually caught tuna!—which they expertly prepared for us to taste right on the boat. It doesn’t get fresher than that! The little ones had a blast catching smaller fish (all released safely), and the excitement on their faces was priceless.
The boat was spotless and well-equipped, and the vibe was fun, relaxed, and just the right mix of laid-back and exciting. It’s hard to find something that entertains every age group—but this trip absolutely delivered. Highly recommend for families who want a safe, hands-on taste of the sea with just the right amount of thrill.

I had an incredible fishing experience from the moment we set sail, everything felt seamless and well-organised. The boat was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with top-quality gear.
What made the trip truly special was the relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The crew was helpful and patient, offering tips without being overbearing. Being out on the open water with the sun shining and a cool breeze made it feel like a perfect escape. We ended the day with a solid haul and even spotted dolphins on the ride back.
If you’re looking for a great day of fishing, I can’t recommend this experience enough, it was the perfect blend of adventure.

If you’re looking for an adrenaline-pumping fishing adventure, this is it! We booked a fishing trip in Malta with the goal of catching tuna, and it turned out to be one of the best experiences of our lives.
From the moment we stepped on the boat, the crew made us feel welcome and safe. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the local waters, fishing techniques, and most importantly — they knew exactly where the tuna were biting!
The setup was top-notch: professional-grade rods, bait, gear, and a well-equipped boat that handled the sea beautifully. Within a couple of hours offshore, we hooked our first bluefin — and the fight was intense! Reeling in such a powerful fish with the guidance of the experienced crew was unforgettable. By the end of the trip, we had multiple strikes and landed some impressive catches.

I joined this tuna fishing trip for the first time, and the captain was incredibly friendly and always willing to share his knowledge. When I caught fewer fish than the others, he didn’t give up on me—he kept searching for spots so that I could have a chance to catch more. That support made the whole experience truly enjoyable.
If you want to have a rare and unforgettable opportunity to catch tuna—something you can’t easily experience anywhere else—I highly recommend joining this tour!
