Great Freaking Captain!

Captain Matt is a great captain. He’s accessible and stayed in touch throughout the booking up to the trip. He’ll help you out anyway he can. He pays attention to what you want and tries his best to get it for you.
I knew it was going to be rough, but was in a time crunch. He gave me an out, but I went anyway. He handled the boat exceptionally well and got us some fish.
In short, he knows what the hell he’s doing and I trust him. Great captain.

Great views, great company, great fishing!

Captain Matt is a class act. Prior to booking, he was quick to respond on the messaging app within FishingBooker and answered all my questions. Once on board, Captain Matt made sure we learned a lot about fishing in the area, the Oregon Inlet, and more. We were followed by a pod of dolphins which was incredible to see. We did a 3hr tour in the evening. While we only caught two fish (one Mahi and one spanish mackerel), we had a great time! I fully recommend Captain Matt to anyone looking for a fishing and educational experience.

Great time found a few despite the weather

We had a great time with Captain Matt. The weather was an obstacle as it was pretty rough and windy, but Matt was very upfront with expectations and we were game for a good day on the water. It took us a while to get a bite but the sights were worth it. We had a good time talking with Matt and it was an experience being in some rougher weather. Would we have liked to catch some more fish? Sure, but we would happily go out with Captain Matt again. Great guy and a fun day. Thanks for everything Matt.

I really appreciate that you were understanding about the adverse conditions, yet you were adventurous enough to give it a try. we made the best of otherwise ugly conditions and although the fishing wasn't all that good, the company was! Peaceful trip, knowledgeable captain

We went on the sunset 2 hour trip with 4 adults and a two year old. The captain was very friendly and knowledgeable and made sure the toddler was comfortable before going out. We were fairly inexperienced with fishing in general and definitely wouldn’t have been able to tell what kind of fish we caught, but the captain knew immediately and gave us tips on how to bring the catch in. We caught 2 blue fish and 2 Spanish mackerel in an hour. The views were incredible, too.

Matt is a fantastic captain for chartering in the obx area. My wife and some friends felt spontaneous for our last day in the area and booked with Matt. Mid day 4hr trip bagged 10 fish total (Blues and Spanish Macs) and we would do it all.over again. Hopefully plan to do just that in the future. Matt is a great option to get out on the water for not only fishing but for a great time. We definitely recommend booking him for a trip.
