If you have ever booked a fishing charter you’ll know that there’s usually a lucky boat that’s catching a ton of fish, and all of the rest of the boats are circling it trying to get in on the action.  SAction is that boat.  We caught well over 60 fish on a morning charter.  All were caught humanely and the vast majority were released.  Jose’s gear was awesome, light rods with well maintained reels, so when we caught a big Red or a catfish the fight was on. 

The best part was he let us fish unassisted unless we desired it.  I’m not fond of charters where the crew do all of the fishing, and only let the customer reel the fish in.  Also he had plenty of bait and lures.  I get annoyed when a charter boat runs out of bait

Jose runs a phenomenal charter and I asked him to take us out again if he finds some available time.

We met Jose at the dock, early on our part and he was already ready to go. He was welcoming and explained his plan. We trolled some but only caught a little guy. Then we went over to the dam and bottom fished and caught some more. During all of this we had a variety of weather from sun to rain to hail. After the storms gathered we decided to head home since we could hear thunder. In all it was a fun trip and when I come back I’ll definitely be booking Jose again!

Joe was very curteous and made the day so fun. He put us on the and we were able to catch them back to back. Well, I did, hubby just fed the fish.😆 He is alos very knowledgable about boats and setups as well as baits and lures. Thank you, Joe for an amazing day!
