Welcome to Smackdown Sportfishing - your gateway to the amazing and memorable experience of fishing for Salmon, Trout, Walleye, and other species on Lake Ontario, Erie, and Huron.

I’m Captain Vlad and although I am new to chartering, I’ve been fishing since I was 5 years old back in Ukraine. Since 2018, I have been fishing the Great Lakes targeting Salmon, Trout, and Walleye, and had great success. Beginning 2024, I would like to share my knowledge, experience, and a strong passion for fishing by offering fully guided fishing trips across all the Great Lakes.

You will be fishing with me in a 20ft Lund Tyee 1950 Magnum, a boat that is built for the Great Lakes. The boat has a powerful 225 HP Supercharged Mercury Verado and a 9.9 HP Mercury Pro Kicker. The boat is fully trailerable, which allows me to cover:

- South shore of Lake Ontario from Port Dalhousie/Grimsby/Hamilton for the months of April and May
- North shore (Buffers Park Marina) in June until October
- Lake Erie, Port Glasgow, June to September
- Lake Huron, Grand Bend, May to September

You don’t need to bring anything except your favorite snacks and drinks, as well as comfortable clothes. There is no need for a sunscreen unless you are very particular about its brand etc - I have the sunscreen on the boat (60 SPF) that we use in our family.

Furthermore, anyone fishing with me is automatically registered to the SCGFA Spring Salmon Derby, GOSD Salmon Derby, and SCGFA Fall Derby.
