Karen Ann Charters – 33' Parker 

Karen Ann Charters has a trip with your name on it along the stunning waters of New York City. With Captain Vinnie at the helm, you’re in knowledgeable and experienced hands.

These waters are home to Striped Bass, Bluefish, Bonito, Mahi Mahi, Bluefin Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, and more with any luck. You’ll target your catch by spinning, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Vinnie also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.

Trips with Karen Ann Charters are open to the whole family, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!

Your vessel for the day is a 33’ Parker center console with space for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

You can’t go wrong when you bring sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks for you on board.
