Cooper Landing – Lost Boys Fishing

Depending on the season, you might hook into Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Dolly Varden, Salmon, and anything else that bites. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to drift using light tackle. Capt. Drew also offers fly fishing.

If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Don’t forget to bring snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!

Capt. Drew runs a 20’ Koffler driftboat with space for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures.

Before coming aboard, you’ll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
