Crystal River has a fish with your name on it, so let Reel Pressure help you catch it! Your guide for the day is Captain Josh, you’ll benefit from his years of angling experience. Your boat for the day is a 20’ Micro Draft, with a 2023 Yamaha 70 hp that can carry up to 6 passengers.

Whether you’re seeking a serene day of leisurely fishing or an adrenaline-pumping pursuit of trophy catches, he will tailor each trip to suit your preferences. From the moment you make your reservation, he will work closely with you to ensure that every detail is meticulously planned out. As you set sail, you’re likely to see some Manatees with Crystal River being home to many of the gentle giants.

Plan on going after Redfish, Snook, Speckled Trout, Mangrove Snapper, Sheepshead, Tripletail, Cobia, Tarpon, Black Seabass, Grunt, and more, depending on the season. On these trips, you can expect to drift and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Joshua can also have you gigging for Sheepsead, Mullet, and Flounder. Don’t forget scalloping season is right around the corner too. Pre-booking in advance is highly recommended.

Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself. There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

A few items to bring include sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is not allowed. If you are booking a scallop trip we ask you to bring your own fins & snorkel mask. We do have some extra aboard but we recommend having your own snorkel gear that fits properly.
