There’s a fish with your name on it in Bethany Beach and Miss Ene III will help you catch it!
These waters are known for Black Seabass, Flounder, Tautog, Spanish Mackerel, Sheepshead, Gray Triggerfish, Bluefish, Striped Bass, Rockfish, Spotted Seatrout, and more – with any luck, it won’t be long before "Fish on!" Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
You’ll be dropping lines from a 37’ sportfishing vessel with room for 12 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary. You will be greeted by either Capt. Ed Wagner or Capt. Mike Baiocco.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish. You can’t go wrong when you bring bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Miss Ene III.
