There’s a fish with your name on it in Puerto Vallarta and PV Sail Fishing & Tours will help you catch it!

These waters are known for Jack Crevalle, Kingfish, Rainbow Runner, Sailfish, Roosterfish, Sierra Mackerel, Skipjack Tuna, Mahi Mahi, and more – with any luck, it won’t take long to hook into some. On these trips, it’s common to troll using light or heavy tackle.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!

You’ll find yourself aboard a 29’ Custom-made center console that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has outriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish. It’s never a bad idea to bring sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
