If you’re ready to try fishing in Pompano Beach, we’ve got you covered with Bottoms Up Adventures. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Scott can tell you all about the local fishery.

Mutton Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Snowy Grouper, Black Grouper, Gag Grouper, Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Cobia, King Mackerel, Wahoo, Sailfish, and more are in the cards, depending on the season. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish. 

Capt. Scott operates a 25’ Yamaha boat that holds up to 8 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you. Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

Young ones are welcome, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. It’s recommended to bring snacks, drinks, sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and a hat. Bottled water is included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
