Best Coast Fishing Charter – Epic 

Best Coast Fishing Charters has a trip with your name on it along the stunning waters of Ana Maria Island and Tampa Bay. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Dalton knows them forwards and back.

Depending on the season, you might hook into Amberjack, Cobia, Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, Jack Crevalle, Sheepshead, Mangrove Snapper, Red Snapper, Snook, Speckled Trout, Tarpon, Redfish, and who knows what else! On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle. Capt. Dalton also offers fly fishing, but you will need to bring your own fly gear.

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

You’ll step aboard a 22’ Center console Epic SC series that can carry up to 6 passengers and has a max cruising speed of 45 knots. Aboard you will find all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels. Live bait is available, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, a hat, and sunblock (non-spray). Bottled water is included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
