Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!

You’ll be dropping lines from a 31’ Ocean Master center console that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers and all the essentials. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation. Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

It’s always wise to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Bottled water will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
