Make the most of your time in Port Washington and go fishing with Chasin’Tail Charters. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Josh is prepared to put you on fish.

Depending on the season, you might hook into Coho Salmon, King Salmon, Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Steelhead, and whatever else is biting. On these trips, it’s common to troll. Fish caught during the trip are yours to take home, so long as they’re within the legal limit. The crew will even clean your catch for you. Have a cooler ready in the car!

Your adventure begins aboard a 30’ Performance fishing with a capacity for 6 passengers. It has downriggers and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Josh will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures.

You’ll need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.

If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. You can’t go wrong when you bring snacks, drinks, sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
