Fowl Dawgs offers Lake Michigan Fishing Charters for Salmon, and Trout! They strive to provide you with an adventure that you’ll never forget.

Around here the fishing is popular for Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Pink Salmon, Coho Salmon, Chinook Salmon, and more if conditions allow. You can expect to do some trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

You’re free to keep some of the fish you catch, provided they’re within size and bag limits. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take your fish home and throw it right into the pan. Now that’s dinner!

Your boat for the day is a 36’ Offshore sport fishing that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers, a fighting chair, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. What’s more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures and live bait.

Before coming aboard, you may need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.

You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish and make the most of your trip. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10%–20% gratuity is customary and much appreciated.

Capt. Michael welcomes children aboard, so get ‘em offline and onto the water! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. You can’t go wrong when you bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water.

Salmon-A-Rama: Captain Mike enjoys participating in several tournaments annually but especially looks forward to the 9-day Salmon-A-Rama (SAR). As a Preferred Charter for SAR, guests on our charters have a chance to collect a share of the winnings in the event we boat a prize-winning fish.
