On the day of your trip, you’re likely to jig using light tackle.

Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it ahead of time so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take your fish home to eat.

There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

You can’t go wrong when you bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask.
