Ate-Up Charters is owned and operated by Captain Riley Griffith, a Fort Pierce native who grew up in a commercial and sport fishing family.
Captain Riley has dedicated his life to pursuing trophy fish and has developed a passion for sharing his knowledge with fellow anglers and creating unforgettable memories for his guests.
The Indian River Lagoon is home to a wide variety of fish. Snook and Tarpon are the most frequently targeted here in Fort Pierce, but it’s no rarity to return to the dock with tales of Grouper, Drum, Seatrout, Redfish, Pompano, Flounder, Tripletail, and/or so much more. Fort Pierce is home to some of the most diverse fishing in the world and has been home to several IGFA record fish.
Ate-Up also offers trips through the scenic St. Lucie River. This small river is recognized for its excellent Snook and Tarpon fishing in the spring and summer but holds fish through all seasons. A unique factor of St. Lucie is that it is home to all species of Florida Snook: Common Snook, Swordspine, Fat, and Tarpon Snook. One of Riley’s favorite methods for catching these fish is with a fly rod.
Ate-Up accommodates all anglers regardless of experience or capabilities. Expect a friendly environment with a captain who will put full effort into your trip.
