My wife and I had a great time on the boat with captain Alex and his crew Kelly and Lisander. They were very friendly, polite, and accommodating. I pulled in a nice king mackerel with a hand line while trolling the deeper waters. Something I had never seen before and it was very exciting. We moved into shallower water for some bottom fishing where both my wife and I caught a variety of species including grouper, trigger fish, grunt fish and some others I’m forgetting. The bottom fishing was action packed and the bites were instant. Overall was very pleased and would highly recommend these guys.

This tour was perfect for our family and every way. Captain Alex communicated with us the day before to let us know the exact meeting spot. He had lots of snacks and drinks for the kids. He and Kelly were very patient teaching kids (12,14,16) who had never fished before how to use the rods. The snorkel spot had lots of large exotic fish. We probably spent 30 minutes or so snorkeling and the rest of the time fishing, which was a good split. The boat ride also gave a tour of the northwest end of the island up until the lighthouse. I would highly recommend!

We spent the early morning deep sea fishing and landed a nice king mackerel that Kelly later fillet for us to eat for lunch. We did some bottom fishing later in the morning and my wife and I both caught several species including trigger fish, grouper, and grunt fish. I pulled the king in on a hand line it was very exciting. The bottom fishing was actioned packed the bites were instant. I would highly recommend these guys, we would certainly fish with them in the future!

If you’re looking for a fishing trip for the family then I’d highly recommend the bottom fishing/snorkel combo trip. The boat was large enough to fit all seven of us with room to spare. The captain was able to find us fish almost immediately, then after every thing, he filleted the fish and drop it off at our Airbnb. You can also catch and release if you like. The captain is knowledgeable, certainly knows how to find the fish. I’d highly recommend using this guide and I will be using them again when I come back.

We could not ask for better experience! Alex, the Captain together with his wife sure provided us with unforgettable experience!
They are a very personable team, very professional and knowledgeable as well very easy going. We had some communication before the trip, with suggestions about the weather and meeting point and time. Alex have great quality boat for Aruba waters, bigger than other ones we saw and very good fishing equipment. While other boats were not catching nothing - we did caught fish! And took it home to cook it! Boat is clean and very comfortable, Alex even brought sandwiches and plenty of water for all.
But more than that we learned a lot about Aruba life and history ( Alex is a native) and learned names all the fish species we caught and even saw large group of dolphins that came right to our boat!!
We signed up for deep sea fishing but Alex also suggested we will do little bit bottom fishing at the end and we so glad we listened to him! That was a lot of fun and fish was biting like crazy one after another one!
Highly highly recommending fishing trip with Keep It Reel!! We hopping to be back and do it all over again!
