USCG-licensed Captain Chad operates out of Port Aransas, and is passionate about providing an enjoyable and productive trip.  He and his crew have been fishing the Gulf for years, specializing in blue water fishing for all species. The first mate, Andrew, helps anglers of all skill levels get the big fish on the boat.

You’ll notice the 35’ Bertram is comfortable and runs fast. She accommodates up to 6 anglers with a private toilet on board, so you can have a long day on the water without sacrificing comfort.

You’ll head offshore to the deep waters of the Gulf, using different techniques depending on the fish you’d like to reel in. You’ll be using a variety of top-notch equipment and live bait can be provided before the trip, depending on the season and targeted fish. You’ll just need a fishing license, which you can buy at various locations in Port Aransas.

There are many species you can target, depending on the season, trip length, and sea conditions. These may include Tuna, Wahoo, Red Snapper, King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, Cobia, and Shark. A cleaning service for your fish is available back at the dock, for a fee, and many local restaurants can cook your catch so you can enjoy a delicious meal.

The crew supports the tradition of giving children the experience of fishing. Those 5 and over are welcome aboard, provided a parent is also present. A cooler with ice is provided for your catch as well as all fishing tackle and life jackets. You’re welcome to bring food and drinks in your own cooler, and don’t forget sunscreen and non-skid shoes.
