When you’re out on his drift boat, he’ll take you out to try to tempt some Spring Chinook Salmon and Steelhead to join you aboard. He tends to use heavy tackle on this trip, with drift fishing being his favorite technique.

All of the required fishing gear is provided by Captain Herman. Okuma, Lamigrass, and G-Loomis are the brands that he most commonly opts for when he is out fishing. The fish that you catch will also be cleaned as part of the package.

Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

Before coming aboard, it’s required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

All you need to take along with you is your favorite food, drinks, and suitable clothing. Apart from that, Captain Herman has everything else sorted, and you only need to prepare yourself for a superb day of river fishing.
