These waters are home to Amberjack, Sailfish, Mutton Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Cobia, Black Grouper, Wahoo, Bonito, Cubera Snapper, Permit, and more, depending on conditions.

You can expect to do some spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Jon can also show you kite fishing. Any fish within the legal limit are yours to take with you. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take your fish home and throw it right into the pan. Now that’s dinner!

You’ll step aboard a 29’ SeaVee center console that can carry up to 4 passengers. It comes with downriggers and all the essentials. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it ahead of time so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish and make the most of your trip. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10%–20% gratuity is customary and much appreciated.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, which means all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

A few items you’ll want to bring include sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. Drinks will be available for you.
