Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!

Your boat for the day is a 22’ Blue Wave flats boat that holds up to 4 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish. It’s never a bad idea to bring sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
