Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Walleye, and whatever else is biting. You’ll target your catch by trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Trips with Jw Sportfishing are fun for all ages, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!

You’ll be welcome aboard a 21’ North River aluminum fishing with a capacity for 5 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Capt. James will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

Before coming aboard, you may need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

It’s always wise to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
