He especially welcomes novice anglers and loves to be the one who introduces them to the world of fishing. Learn the basics of handling the equipment, get the feel for line movement, and notice when is the best time to start reeling.

But first things first. Before you cast the line and pack your catch, you need to board the boat. It’s a 24’ Sylvan cuddy cabin that accommodates up to 4 guests. The boat is powered by a 180 HP Mercruiser engine that reaches the speed of 30 knots if necessary. Although you’ll go at a slower pace, you’ll still reach your fishing spot fast.

Your main targets will be 4-year old Coho and Chinook Salmon and you can also catch Lake Trout. You’ll use trolling as the main approach. As promised, the catch is yours to keep at the end of the trip, so use it as an extra motivation for a successful hunt. During summer, there’s also a morning trip you can book.

Captain Duane will provide you with Okuma and Shakespeare fishing equipment, which is included in the price. You’ll need to purchase your fishing license and prepare some snacks and drinks for the day.
