The crew was great. Make sure you ask the captain of the boat if the waters are going to be rough. The guy taking your money will always say it is great. Captain Raul told us it was going to be a bumpy day and we still agreed to go. I asked what to expect and was told probably 3-4 swells. Turned into 8-10 swells and eventually we decided to cut it short and head in. The crew was awesome. They listened to our request and did head into shore. However, instead of packing it in, they continued to look for fish for us. We we were close to the shore the Captain saw something and did a couple o circles. We had four hits all at the same time. We landed two of the four and what a great experience. You will always find a good review when you catch fish. I would have left the same review either way. It is called fishing and not catching but it always is fun to show off the pictures at home.
The reason for the lower score on the boat and equipment was due to the dock area and how we had to get onto the boat. The other reason was that on Daddy’s Girl there was a continuous fuel oder that blows back into the seating area. The fishing equipment is all Top notch and the boat was very clean.
The Crew got 5 stars, would go out with them again in a heartbeat.
Overall experience got 4 stars only again because of the fumes and the tough way to get onto the boat. Not at all a big deal but like to give people a complete picture of what to expect. When it comes to transportation, Island Dog had Eton pick us up and would request him on every trip.
Overall, Island Dog did a great job. Found Fish, Great Crew, & good organization to get us to the Marina and back to Beaches Ocho Rios Safely.
THANK YOU!!!!
