Both Charley and Gil were professional and fun. Made it great time and got us on fish right away!

Captain Charlie and his deck mate were outstanding, and definitely put us on the fish today.  They did an excellent job of cleaning the fish and made sure we had plenty to bring back home to Texas.  Highly recommend using Southern Sun Fishing Charters.

Took my grandsons, 8 and 13, on a 4 hour inshore charter and had a blast. Upon arrival at the marina Capt. Charlie advised the fishing was not very good the day before and asked us if we would like to stay on schedule. We did and we had a great time. He put us on the fish and my grandsons were able to catch some nice ones. Will definitely charter with them again. Great family experience.

It was a hot and humid morning, and the fishing was slow.  Charlie worked hard to put us on some redfish.  After no success he took us out six miles to catch some red snappers and mackerel. We saw some redfish being caught at the bridge on the way back in so we stopped to fish for the last few minutes of the trip.  I caught a large redfish on the first drift.  We fished for 15 minutes past our allotted time trying to get another redfish for one of the other guys on the boat.

My 2 teenage sons, my husband and my father-in-law participated in this half day inshore fishing trip and they had a blast. Captain Parker took them to several great spots and they caught lots of black drum. We took some of the fish to The Point in Perdido Key and they fried half and blackened the other half. The food was amazing and we will definitely book with Southern Sun again!
