I want to thank Captain Gary and Calvin for an awesome day on the lake yesterday. It was a first time trip for our 15 year old nephew and a special day for Edie and his dad. Cpt. Gary and crew worked hard ti insure everyone was comfortable and enjoyed the day out on the water. It was a perfect day for late October and putting fish in the boat added to the experience.  I highly recommend Sara J Charters and Captain Gary. Also, be sure to take advantage of the fish cleaning offered for an additional fee. It’s well worth it. Thanks again Captain, we will see you on our next trip out.

My wife, a friend and I went out in July and had an absolutely fantastic time.  The ride out was magnificent and once we began trolling, the walleye kept biting until we had our limit.  You don’t need to know anything about fishing.  The capt. and first mate will show you everything and tell you exactly what to do.  I brought food and lots of water and soft drinks in cooler - highly recommend.  ALSO, BE SURE TO HAVE THEM FILLET YOUR FISH.  I will be taking my grandkids back for their own walleye experience.

Had a wonderful afternoon fishing on Sara J with our family. We all got our limit of Walleye.  They also (for a fee) cleaned our catch right there at the dock.
We will use Sara J again.

Was a slow day for fish unfortunately, but Captain Gary stayed out and made sure we got our fish.  Stand up guys, would recommend to anyone.

Gary and Calvin were great!  Beautiful day on the lake.  Fun for any skill level.  Take your catch to the Shipyard afterwards and have them cook it up - delicious!
