I have nicknamed a lot of people in my life. Let’s see if Walker Texas Danger sticks on Walker Richardson. Fish better run from him or they are in danger of being caught. He knows how to run them down and catch them. I enjoyed fishing with him on a day we had to bounce all over the lake to make them bite. Got a few here and few there. Blue Cat, Channel Cat, Largemouth Buffalo, Smallmouth Buffalo, White Bass, and an old Rockhead. I like doing different methods and Walker showed me a new one on catching the buffalo. Met his boss and grandfather John when we got back to clean them. Two really nice guys. Thank you both and hope y’all have a great spring and whole year. I had fun.

Had a great trip!  We didn’t catch our limit but it had rained up until the time we went fishing, so that may have impacted it.  The captain took us to multiple spots to catch fish.  The only complaint we had was that we got soaked riding in the bow of the boat as we left to go fish and it was 63 degrees outside.  It was cold!  The water was rough, so a slower pace would have helped the problem.  Otherwise, we had a great time.  Captain John was very personable and friendly and we enjoyed his company.  He even cleaned our fish and brought it to our camp site. Thank you, Camptain!

Wanted to take my wife and adult sons out fishing on a fall weekend when the boys were in town. In checking for guides on nearby lakes, I found this trip on Lake Livingston.

Seems like the fish that are biting on this lake really changes with the time of year and weather.

Captain John was able to put us on some crappies fishing around down trees & brush piles. The 4 of us caught 5 or 6 crappies, including 3 keepers (all the keepers were caught by my wife) . We also caught a bunch of really small catfish that kept the trip interesting.

Lake was very pretty am the weather was perfect, we still had a good time.  I wish we’d had more fishing success but I think the Captain did what he could given the day.

Caught a lot of fish captain Richard was very informative we caught plenty of fish while others are unable. He knew where to find the fish so we can catch them quick. He was very entertaining as well as professional in helping us to have a great time fishing

Fishing conditions weren’t great but Captain John helped us find some fish and more importantly had a great time for our two boys 9, 11, wife and I. I recommend his services!
