I didn’t get captain jamie, probably would of been a better trip. My problem was is we spent more time moving then fishing, I understand he was trying to find the fish but we would fish 15 minutes and boat for 30 trying to find them, then our last stop he put us on was no fish and we kept getting hung up and we stayed there an hour! Sorry just didn’t enjoy it, to much moving!
Alot of fish caught..one man hooked a large shark but line. Roke when he finally got it to the boat
I took a trip in mid-September and they had it start at 10 a.m. it was very hot, and despite the crew’s sincere effort to find fish, there were very few fish caught on the entire boat on a 3/4 day trip. For a final price of $190. Including tip, we should have caught something as a ship. Captain might also even put time spent in shade for both sides of ship. It was very crowded. Crew was great and Angela, the cook, made a great fish sandwich.
Great guys! Started the day off on the wrong foot but it was my fault! We were impressed with the way they performed their jobs! Even took time with a little girl on board and made sure she caught fish. Capt. Syx even let her sit in the captain’s chair and drive the boat! lol Highly recommend a trip with the Gulf Stream IV! Oh, and I won the pool for the largest fish! A really nice grouper!
Captain and crew were great. The rods and reels could use some love and lube. The vessel itself is definitely feeling it’s age. Can’t say if I was loosing more hooks to fish, rocks, or old lines.
