After arriving at the marina we left out immediately… we caught a small variety of fish, which was exciting for us as we have never been saltwater fishing. My daughter and I were the only ones in our party of 4 to catch one keeper each. It was a little disappointing pulling back into the marina and seeing other boats cleaning their catches. But fishing is a sport of luck and maybe it just wasn’t our day. We have a charter booked in Corpus Christi next weekend and maybe we will have a bit more luck to yield a bigger haul there. Over all though Brandon tried to get us on the fish, he was very helpful with my daughter, baiting her hook and taking her fish off, which allowed me to actually get to fish and anyone that fishes with kids knows how much I enjoyed actually fishing and reeling them in!

Captain Brandon was awesome. He took us to a few places. He sure did put us on some fish. We caught 13 keepers and an oversized Drum we named the Big Ugly. He is a down to earth guy not alot of rules like some chatters I have seen. We all had fun and enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks Brandon for a trip to remember:-)
To start I would recommend this trip based on the equipment and Captain. The boat and all equipment was good which is what I expected from a guide. The captain was on time and good at communicating before the trip. To no fault of the captain it was a windy day so that made it a tough trip. We hit a bunch of spots and the fish just weren’t biting. Nobody around us was having any luck either so it was just bad timing.
