Boat was beyond clean…Pedro and first mate worked their rear ends off to try and get something on the line, but to know avail…some times they are biting and some times they are not…Great Job Viviana IV, we will get them next time we are in Cabo!
Very pleased with the equipment and crew. We had rough weather but crew worked hard to get us on fish and were very knowledgeable and professional. We caught two fish (Dolphin/ Mahi Mahi) and had a really good time. Crew worked hard to see that we had fun and were very responsive to all our questions. I would highly recommend this boat and crew.
We were more than pleased with our day on the Viviana IV. We caught a 4’ Mahi Mahi & an 8’2” sailfish. The deck hand Roberto & Captain David were so amazing! They processed the Mahi Mahi so we could take our catch to the resort where our chef prepared the fish for us. Kim took care of getting the sailfish mounted. Overall, an exceptional day, definitely will be booking again!
Me and my buddy just came back from fishing on the Viviana IV over the Labor Day weekend 2015. Overall is was a ‘good’ experience. I say good and not excellent only because of some personal preferences that may or may not mean anything to you. The Captain ‘David’ and his mate ‘Roberto’ were excellent in their knowledge and experience. I recommend them highly. The boat itself served its purpose. No bells and whistles but had all the necessary equipment to catch any type fish. I would only recommend three things: 1) Now I wished we would have set sail earlier than 7am. By the time we got our fishing license, bait, some bottled water and motored out to our destination….I think we missed out on the peak fishing window. We caught two fish back to back almost when we first threw our lines in. Then is was pretty dead for several hours. We called it a day when we were headed back to the Marina and taking our lines out of the water when we lucked out and caught one last fish. Try to leave at 6am if you can. 2) I would have liked to have been listening to some music on the boat. The Viviana does not have a radio/speaker. This would have helped with the several hours of dead time. 3) and last, it would have been a nice gesture if the crew had a few complimentary beers on ice. You have the option to buy your own beer or liquor at the store before you sail. But it just wasn’t important at the time. It was only after we had been our for awhile that I wished the crew had a few cold ones to serve. That would have been nice along with the music. But again, these are my ‘personal’ preferences. Overall, it was a very good experience and recommend booking your next trip with the ‘33 Viviana IV. P.S. It was also very nice that the owner of boat was waiting for us to return so that she could say hello and ask us about our experience. Very nice!! Jeff and Doug.

Overslept and they called asking if were still coming. Arrived 1 hour late with no issues. Crew was awesome and we ended up catching a fucking shark! No other fishing trip will top this.
