We had the Smith family out for a 6 hour bay trip. Took them to Great Bay, and had the rods bent throughout the entire trip, but they were mostly because of the sand sharks and skate. They did manage a few blues to take home for dinner. The blues all hit at the bottom of the tide. We were chumming and using bunker for bait. The catch count was over 40 sand shark, over 15 skates, and 3 blues in the 8 to 10 pound range. I didn't try any float rigs, but looking back I should have. They may have gotten the baits off the bottom and higher in the water column were the blues may have gotten to them better. Capt. John
