Fishing is getting good all over!

Casting plugs, or soaking bait, either way, the striped bass are here, feeding, and providing a ton of excitement for anglers willing to put in the time. On a recent trip I was able to land three nice sized, battling bruisers on some old school lures (bucktail, rubber shad, and a deadly dick). Some guys next to me throwing $100 glide baits did even better, landing 6 stripers and a big blue between them. Another friend was soaking clams on another beach and landed two puppy bkack drum and a striper on the same day. This Spring has been fantastic! If you haven't been out, you're missing out! The striped bass run is in full swing! They are cruising along our beaches hitting bait and plugs. They are in our back bays destroying artificials. And theyvare even in the Delaware Bay along with black drum. Loads of fun ways to chase after them, whether you are a novice or hard core. The time is now. Don't miss out!

October 1st is the official start of black sea bass season. With a 12.5" size limot and 10 fish per angler bag limit, these super tasty fish make for a fun trip. Sea bass hold in huge schools over top of structure making them easy and fun to target. You can from bait on a rig, or try your hand at jigging them up. Either way they put up a nice little fight. Did I mention they are tasty? One of the best eating fish around. I have retired from teaching and will be running trips for sea bass, and then tog as the fall progresses.
