Army mother books an afternoon 1/2 day trip from 4pm -8pm with her son who attends West Point Academy in NY. So we decided to take them fishing on West Point Lake. It was very windy and hard to fish. So we tucked away in a long cove to block the wind. Then the magic began. We caught a mixed bag of Crappies, Spotted Bass, Hybrid Stripedbass and Catfish. What a great day.

The high wind causesd white caps on the water and the air was pretty chilly. Our clients said let go for it anyway so thats what we did. I put in the work to produce some quality fish. 1st Drop We hooked up right away. The Hybrid StripedBass and Spotted Bass were both aggressive and attacking baits trolling and casting. Great bite the whole afternoon.

The weather was perfect and the bites were right on time. We started off fishing in 30’ ft of water casting Jigs and slowly trolling. Every techniqued worked. I put our client on Fish right away for him to catch a mixed bag of Hybrids, Crappies and Spotted Bass.
