We had the pleasure of hosting 12 year old Noah VanAmeyden and his family, who traveled all the way from West Michigan to experience the world class fishing here in Fort Lauderdale. What started as a quest for some South Florida action quickly transformed into a historic event. The Battle of a Lifetime Not long into the trip, Noah hooked into something that clearly outmatched the typical local catch. This was not just another fish on the line. It was a massive, powerful predator that pushed the young angler to his limits. For 45 minutes, Noah displayed incredible skill and stamina, fighting a fish that many grown men would struggle to land. As the fish finally neared the surface, the crew and family were stunned to identify it. Noah had managed to reel in a Great White Shark.
